Good use of AI…

I’ve finally come up with a good way to use AI…

Many people highlight the risks and drawbacks of AI. That’s typical behaviour whenever something new comes along. For example, when cars first appeared, someone would walk ahead carrying a flag to warn people…

There may well be obstacles. When personal computers first appeared, you had to buy one to be able to use IT. This time, all that’s needed is an investment of time. It’s interesting to see how many adults are using AI, even though young people were among the first to do so. Young people usually show their parents how to do things when they ask questions.

This means that now the obstacle is usually one’s own personality, so you can predict how likely you are to embrace AI by, for example, considering the ‘Eight Boxes’ personality theory – my favourite, as many know;-) So, if you have a high score for
Sensibility, you tend to prefer using your senses and aren’t particularly fond of machines, especially if you learn that AI can be seen as autistic…
Power, you like speed and results. However, it’s important that it isn’t too complicated to learn…
Quality, you might reflect on the moral implications of using other people’s work. Likewise, whether it is robust enough and will last in the long term. You don’t want to make mistakes.
Exposure: you may like to jump on the bandwagon – especially if it is popular with many people.
Structure: you want to know that it is robust and that there is no risk of errors or incorrect conclusions. This means you might be cautious about the new thing;
Imagination: you usually love the new thing and want to try it out or experiment. But remember that no one has just one of these factors (drivers), so how you act depends on the combination with other strong factors;
Stability: you’ll usually wait until AI is widely used, as you’re cautious about new things
Contacts: you’ll usually react like Sensibility, i.e. you’re more interested in social aspects than in ‘machines’

Which application of AI am I so pleased with? Well, I realised that you can use AI to get support with career choices. It works particularly well if you’ve used, for example, the HumanGuide test to get a clear understanding of your personality. Then you can use that result to guide the AI query (prompt), so it gives an even better answer. The old rule – you get the answer you ask for – still applies ;-)

You can, for example, buy my test here – humanguide.nu – and try it for yourself…

Now I’m going to continue my own AI learning by exploring the possibilities of automation…
