Increased self-knowledge can support crucial personal development

Case x2 entrepreneur

Here you can read from an example. You will see the dialogue by email between the client and the coach, who is me Rolf Kenmo, the founder of the HumanGuide concept (1986) The client is called X – as being anonymous. It is an entrepreneur personality…

You see her test result below – the profile á la HumanGuide. Explanations for the eight factors you find here.

Case x2 profile eng

Then you see that you have most strengths in the upper row, which I call driving. However, you have also one in the bottom row, which I call reflective. This means that you are mostly driving, i.e. you have fast pace. You like to accomplish many things. You need stimulation…

Anyhow, remember that your personality is like it is and very challenging to change. It is rather stable, so you need to adopt and do the best of it. That is mostly to make good choices, where you consider your personality. When you do a good choice, then you get a high PassionIndex. A pedagogic word, which I have coined. The same with the choice of a life partner… You can use the web app your.humanguide.se in order to check for different jobs how they suit you.

Happy New Year X,

I heard that you were in a divorce, so I really wish you good progress in 2026.

I also understood from this that the test result wasn’t perhaps the highest priority... However, in the HumanGuide concept you also have the web app your.humanguide.se, which could support you in good insights, which could be useful in order to manage the divorce in a good way.

Anyhow it bothers me that you paid for doing the test and that you don’t fully understand the result. Therefore. I offered, based on your question, a coaching session, so you hopefully understand your result and its consequences.

Cheers,

Rolf

Jan 4th 2026 – Email from X to Rolf.

Dear Rolf

First of all, please accept my apologies for my silence. The past year – and especially its final phase – was a very demanding period for me privately, which made it difficult to stay responsive despite my good intentions.

During the winter holiday period, I finally had the time and mental space to return to my HumanGuide test results and reflect on them more thoroughly. This reflection turned out to be very clarifying for me.

I now understand much more clearly that my profile represents a person who naturally initiates change and explores new directions, rather than someone who gains energy from maintaining systems, routines, or stable structures. This insight helped me see why working close to science, research, and innovation gives me so much joy. I do not experience this work as tiring at all – on the contrary, it continuously fuels my curiosity and inner drive. It feels deeply aligned with my inner self.

Thank you very much for your patience, your care, and your individual approach. I truly appreciate the way you followed up and the support you offered.

I would also like to wish you a very Happy New Year and all the best for the year ahead.

Warm regards,
X

Dear X,

thanks for your feedback. I enjoyed it very much!

Good insight you had. You are similar to an entrepreneur. I attach a paper I have written about entrepreneurs. (in this paper you can download it here – “Why some entrepreneurs fails and other are successful?” It can be interesting for you.

Cheers,

Rolf

Dear Rolf,

thank you very much for sharing your paper — it is truly very valuable and thought-provoking.

Indeed, being aware of one’s own strengths and weaknesses in terms of personality gives a lot to reflect on. I fully agree with your observations about Imagination — in my case it often means being scattered into “a hundred pieces” at once, while at the same time lacking enough space and time to connect and consolidate ideas that have already emerged. Seeing this described within such a coherent framework was very insightful.

The article also clearly shows how much value there is in understanding personality profiles in teamwork. I increasingly feel that having such profiles for employees could be extremely helpful when forming teams — allowing collaboration to be built consciously and complementarily rather than by chance.

Thank you again for sharing this text.

Regards

X

Jan 6th 2026 – Email from Rolf to X.

Dear X,

I am pleased that you find it worthwhile reading my paper.

As you see below my core factor (the strongest strength) is Imagination. You see that it is blue square in the yellow square, i.e. my co-factor is Structure. This ranking is the result, when you fine-tune the result from the test.

This means that I also can be scattered of all options. MY best solution for that is to have three power goals. This method comes from a colleague, who wrote the book with the same name. Only one, then your life will be like a tunnel. Ten you be scattered. Three is a good optimum.

I also mention this principle in the movie on my website’s first page…

Good luck!

Rolf

Dear Rolf,

Thank you for sharing your reflections and your practical approach to working with the profile. The concept of three power goals resonates with me and brings clarity to working with strong Imagination.

I feel that there is still much work and experience ahead of me. I will certainly return to analysing the test at a later stage, when new challenges and further stages of development arise.

I truly value our contact and am very glad that I had the opportunity to experience it. Of course, I will be happy to reach out again when new reflections emerge or if I need support.

Warm regards
X

Hi again X,

I liked very much our test dialogue. You were a good example as a typical entrepreneur.! I couldn’t drop it, so I thought why not make  an anonymous blog article based on our dialogue – your personal development process…

Attached you find version 1.0. It should be published on the blog part of my website. Here is an example…

https://www.humanguide.org/en/blog/individual/what-are-you-missing-by-being-in-the-same-bubbles-almost-all-the-time

Is it OK for you?

Cheers!

Dear Rolf,

thank you very much for your proposal — I’m truly pleased. I also wanted to say that I found your article on bubble jumping extremely interesting and thought-provoking. It resonates strongly with my own reflections on learning, curiosity, and personal development, and it gave me several new perspectives.

Of course, I agree. If my example can be useful or inspiring for others, I am happy to consent to the anonymous publication. Thank you also for sending version 1.0 — I will read it with great interest.

Warm regards

X
